Every body knows what C.R. stands for..it's the code name of Cristiano Ronaldo , the brilliant phenomenon that all football (soccer) fans talk about.Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro, most commonly known as Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese footballer playing as a winger or a striker, who is also well known for his transfer deal from Manchester United to Real Madrid C.F. in 2009 for 94 million Euros (equivalent to about 132 million dollars) and so he is the highest paid football player till now being paid 11 million sterling pounds per year for six years since his contract was signed with Real Madrid C.F. in 2009. He is simply a unique sort of players, he is almost one of a kind and surely without doubt because he got the talent, skills, stamina, and other advantages that put him in a forward position as a highly valuable player.

Cristiano Ronaldo was a greatly effective player in his former club, he won the Champions League with United in 2008 and was named the best forward and player of the tournament, he was the top goalscorer of the competition as well and all that in addition to winning the European Golden Shoe (the first winger to do so) and topping the Premier League Golden Boot Award.

He won three main PFA and FWA trophies out of four and was named the FIFPro , World soccer and Onze d'Or footballer of the year and the FIFA World player of the year , plus, becoming Manchester United first Ballon d'Or winner in 40 years. Ronaldo holds the distinction of being the first player to win the FIFA Puskas Award, an honour handed by FIFA to the best goal of the year. He scored that goal from 40 yards out against FC Porto in a UEFA Champions League quarter final match, while playing for Manchester United. After a lot of achievements with Manchester United , he went into a big challenge to show what he really is, and was transferred to Real Madrid C.F. in 2009.

Cristiano Ronaldo is playing now for the Royal club in Spain with a perfect squad under the lead of a smart coach, Jose Mourinho who is employing Ronaldo effectively in the squad formation and getting the supreme functionality out of Ronaldo as never before.
On 15 May 2011, Ronaldo became the highest goalscorer in a season in the history of Real Madrid with 51 goals, surpassing the club's previous high of 49 by Ferenc Puskas. He would later finish the season with a total of 53 goals, making him the first Real Madrid player to ever reach and surpass 50 goals in a season. Six days later, Ronaldo broke the record of most goals ever scored in a season in La Liga with 40, surpassing Telmo Zarra's mark established in 1951 and Hugo Sanchez's mark matched in 1990. Ronaldo also broke Zarra's record of most goals per minute, with a goal scored every 70.7 minutes. The newspaper Marca, claimed that Ronaldo scored 41 goals. By doing so, he won the European Golden Shoe award once again, becoming the first player to win the trophy in two different Championships.

Yet he did many things in the football world, and still got a lot more to show as a footballer and some more to achieve in his successful career....
